What happen to hip hop rapping?

Is rap dead? They said Rock-nRoll would never die, but it did for a while. It's back now, but it took a leave of absence. Now rap is on vacation, but will it ever come back? You hear it from a few artist, but that's it. One artist can't keep it alive, not without it changing it.Comment it!
So, is it dead or dying, or what? -

The shows have been moved from Bryant Park in midtown Manhattan to the grandeur of Lincoln Center. Not as many sponsors, and not as many seats. I think high end fashion is down sizing. Is this good or bad for the economy?Comment it! -
